Great Book
This book really helped me decide
what
I wanted to do and where I wanted to go with my
career
. I highly recommend it to anyone who is
job hunting

Great book for career discovery, growth or change
This book is very logically organized and easy-to-use. Because of good highlighting throughout text, it is easy to thumb to the sections that you need at a particular time. Book is informative and entertaining so also makes a good read through from the front to back.
You will find a large section of the book devoted to helping you identify the best
career options
or career changes for you. Good exercises are included that really make you think about
your unique
gifts and talents and likes and dislikes. This book is the type that you will refer to over and over from time to time.

Best job-hunting book!
This book has helped me in more ways than I thought it would. An employment specialist recommended it to me and I love it. It has helped me to look deeper inside myself to see
what
I really want to do for the rest of my life. Great resource! I highly recommend it.
No Wonder It's Remains the "Gold Standard."
This guide continues to be one of the best resources for
job
hunters
everywhere, as well as those who are just considering a
career change
but haven't yet made the leap. Although it's been the "gold standard" for years, the updated
2008
edition contains even more information to both inspire and help job hunters with
practical details
. For those of us who have always struggled to find our niche in the job market, the book includes websites where you can take career and personality tests. Other structured exercises contained in the book, give the reader the opportunity to delve deeper in the process of self-evaluation--even calling on
your intuitive
side. It's not only designed to help you discover areas in which you are likely to excel, but those that you are likely to enjoy in the process, followed by practical steps to help you get there. I recommend this book to seekers of all ages and walks of life, from college students, to stay-at-home moms (or those reentering the workforce), and down the line for retirees who are looking for something to do on the side. The earlier edition helped me to make a new start, so I bought this one for my college age children only to find that it's been evolving ever since--no wonder it's withstood the test of time!
