I have a book on the same topic (Younger by the Day: 365 Ways to Rejuvenate Your Body and Revitalize Your Spirit) and here's the truth: If you can only buy one book today, buy Ripe: The Truth About Growing Older....Don't get me wrong: I think my book is great,too, but this one is visually stunning (that in itself makes it nourishing and delicious) and then you get to the words. These are brilliant, honest, poetic, empowering words every woman in midlife deserves to read and savor. This is a keeper, a birthday gift, a coffee table display, and a readable friend for a good long time. Thanks, Janet Champ and Charlotte Moore: I'm supposed to be an expert on this topic and I needed your book. Learned from it. Loved it.

Fellow Author feel in love with this book!

I'm an author from the same publisher and was researching which books came out this fall (mine came out last year) when I couldn't help but notice RIPE. I ordered it right away, read it right away and have fallen in love with this book. As a former advertising writer, I was always in awe of Champ & Moore's strong advertising voice for Nike Womens products and I see now that they have carried over their respect for women's issues into a longer format. A great book for women of all ages.

I'm READY!!

It was fun reading this book -- filled with facts & helpful advice. I love that they poke fun at this often too-serious topic. I mean, hey, we all gotta go through it, so let's just make the best of it! I'm looking forward to "the change" myself. These two women have the right idea -- let's talk about it & get through it together. Who knows -- we might just enjoy parts of it if we can keep our sense of humor!

This book presents the unvarnished truth without whining, and provides practical information with humor and grace.
