Just How Powerful and Healthy Would You Like to Be?

If your answer is VERY, dear fellow Amazonian, buy this book and jump right in.

This is an extraordinary healing resource. It can help you to become healthier, more empowered, more YOU.

I have used techniques from this book for years. So have loads of silent readers and about 99 other Amazonians who reviewed the original edition. You can find all those earlier reviews by searching under ENERGY MEDICINE. Recognize that earlier edition by its less gorgeous cover....

Recently I stumbled upon the page here, for this new edition, and also clicked onto the other, older page, as part of noodling around in search of Donna and David's NEWEST book, "Energy Medicine for Women." (If you're female, this latest book may be especially appealing. It is to me.)

Back at the page for the old edition, I saw a rare negative review for it. (Basically, ENERGY MEDICINE scores a solid five stars, I believe, what with averaging out the 99 reviews -- a star-score that should instantly make any savvy consumer go WOW!)

By commenting here, I'm so excited that I have a chance to respond to that silly negative review for this same book, only in its first edition. Authors at Amazon don't get that chance, you know. But I'm not the author, merely a fan. Ha ha!

Someone actually complained that ENERGY MEDICINE isn't, supposedly, user friendly enough. Short of grabbing that sad reader's hand and somehow doing the exercises FOR him - what could possibly be more user friendly than this book?

Explanations, instructions, and visual aids abound. The words are clear. The balance of HOW and WHY couldn't be better.

I would also like to point out a fact about this book that is obvious to me. Maybe such a fact isn't obvious to you, simply because you've never considered it before. Clearly, this fact isn't obvious to the negative reviewer:

When you are reading or reviewing a nonfiction book, consider the material itself. Where did it come from?

Even more admirable than the extreme user-friendliness of this book, do consider where the techniques came from. Nearly all of them come from the mind, heart, and soul of one person. Donna Eden.

If you think such wisdom grows on trees, please, show me that orchard! And if you'd like to be healthy while roaming the world, seeking the Land of Uncanny Discovery, Health-Rejuvenation, and Amazing Innovation, take care of yourself. You may be walking quite a while. Do some smart self-care to keep up your strength.

I have a hunch that the best exercises for doing that can be found right in this book.

I treated the original edition of Energy Medicine like some religious people treat the Bible. It travels with me, the pages are worn, the words have been read many many times, passages have been memorized. I expected the "10th Anniversary Edition" to be more about bringing renewed attention to what has I'm sure been the most successful book in its genre by far (more than 150,000 U.S. sales and 15 foreign editions, according to the author's website). I didn't really think the book itself could get better. But it did! Besides being thoroughly updated as the field of energy medicine has taken roots over the past decade, you will find new sections on such important topics as how to use energy medicine if you are having an invasive medical procedure. The desired benefits of surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation are more likely to come about if your body is energetically prepared to support the procedure, and the side effects will be far fewer. But the book remains both the premiere self-help guide for using an understanding of the body's subtle energies to keep yourself healthy and vital and also a clinical handbook that can be used by any health care practitioner.

I ordered the revised/expanded edition the moment Amazon listed it. I then ordered several more as gifts directly from the author's website, www.LearnEnergyMedicine.com, along with the companion DVDs that show the author demonstrating the techniques. The ones I ordered through the author's website came with a card saying that enlargements of some of the drawings, which are rather small in the printed edition, can be found on the above website under "View Large Drawings . . ." The copy I got from Amazon did not have this card. If you are buying the book from Amazon, remember to take a look at the larger versions of the drawings. I've printed them and keep them with the book. They are actually very useful as they are referred to throughout the text.
