Comprehensive with heart

We have several of the Obama commemorative books and this is by far the best. It has a great balance of wonderful pictures and reprints of various New York Times articles as well as the full text of several key speeches. If you are going to buy one of this genre of books, this is the one to pick.

A More Comprehensive Historic Journey

This book provides a more comprehensive and detailed overview of Obama's historic journey than the Washington Post version. This book focuses primarily on Obama from birth to the presidency and provides wonderful pictures and articles. The Washington Post version on the other hand focuses primarily on the crowds and visitors and the views and emotions of people involved with the historic journey with not enough specific coverage on Obama and his personal life and journey. This book cost a little more but is well worth the extra investment.
