No Punches Pulled. An All Out Frenzy Of Information...

You cannot go wrong with this book.

Whitman is entertaining, informative, and honest. He has a very no b.s. way of writing, making sure to drive every point home. He doesn't leave it to your guessing to understanding what he is trying to say.

I was very pleasantly surprised. Having never heard of him before and seeing that the book was particularly thick, I was concerned. That is, until I sat down and started reading. From that point on, my eyes were glued to each page.

My copy is dog eared and highlighted. The binding is bent and the cover is curved.

Drew's checklist, his guide to writing copy, his views on marketing, on creativity... Amazing. And he doesn't just tell you "hey, this works..." He tells you WHY it works. Everything is backed up by hard facts and scientific research.

Definitely worth the money many times over.

I know this stuff works

After reading CA$HVERTISING and being blown away by all the great information, I came here to write a glowing testimonial. But I see from all of the 5-Star reviews that others have said what I'm thinking and have done it more eloquently. So let me put a different slant on it.

My company has used Drew for our marketing for over 5 years. I've tested his stuff against some of the best in the business. He almost always wins! Simply... what Drew writes in his book is what he practices everyday. AND IT WORKS!

Savvy insider's guide to advertising

Selling is a basic human interaction. Yet, most professionals in advertising and related fields understand very little about what actually drives people to buy. In this short, punchy book, Drew Eric Whitman lifts the shroud of mystery surrounding consumer behavior by explaining some fundamental psychological principles. His well-researched pointers will help you create ads that appeal to customers' deepest desires and impulses. Although Whitman's advice is applicable to all modes of advertising, he focuses on print advertising; thus, some readers might wish for more insights on Web copy or broadcasting. Still, getAbstract strongly recommends Whitman's compelling delivery of crucial advertising advice.
