I love this book
I checked out this book when I was trying to organize my living space. If you like clean, open, unadorned, light living areas; this is a great book. I checked it out from the library three times and then eventually decided to buy it. My boyfriend looked at it, and he said that he thought it was common sense but he liked the pictures.
The main thing that I liked about the book is that it addresses house cleaning and organizing from a holistic sense. I am not necessarily a holistic person, but this really worked for me. It's much better than the Sunset Books or Martha Stewart clinical approach to house cleaning and organizing. It gives you ideas about how to make lists of house chores to do on certain days. Also, Josephine suggests using essential oils and natural ingredients to clean
your house
. It points out that light and lack of clutter are important.
The writing exercises are important. Don't skip them!
