The catch-phrase, "Roma wine presents" or "Autolite presents" voiced over that famous and ominous theme music are recognizable to anyone who loves old radio. Radio ruled the airwaves for decades and "Suspense" was one of the finest and most popular shows ever produced.

"Suspense" was truly the cream of the crop. There were well written stories given a glossy and realistic production that week after week kept listeners glued to their chairs, bent slightly forward so as not to miss even one moment of the twist ending or haunting finale.
