Great, but not all-inclusive

This is a very detailed book, but the title is a little misleading, as the author includes only the 300 "letter series" automobiles, totally ignoring any 300 models from 1966 through 1997. Perhaps Mr. Ackerson should have titled the book "Chrysler 300 Letter Series" to make this distinction.

Purchased as a gift to and Ex -Husband

This was purchased as a gift for another person because they had a car like this one.

300- King of the MOPARS.

Having always admired the mighty HEMI motor and now awaiting delivery of a new 300C SRT-8 it was a terrific book to read in depth from the origins of the 300 series to the current model 300C with plenty of specifications, performance details and options available at the time. I did not realise how few were actually built and to continue as long as they did simply would not happen today.Plenty of photoes both period and current made a very enjoyable book for any car enthusiast and not just the Hemi Heads of this world!! Roll on Chrysler!!

This book is a must for enthusiasts of outstanding high-performance automobiles. It examines in detail all the great Chrysler 300 models from 1955 to the latest versions including the 425 horsepower 2005 300C SRT-8 model and the 300's running-mate, the 2005 Dodge Magnum. With hundreds of color and black and white photos, a carefully researched text, production and sales data, and a year-by-year study of each Chrysler 300, this is a high-quality book celebrating the origin and return to glory of one of America's most respected high-performance automobiles. Three eras of the Chrysler 300 are covered: the first spans of the years 1955-1965; the second 1998-2004, when Chrysler revived the 300 name as the front wheel drive 300M; the third age began in 2004 when four all-new rear wheel drive Chrysler 300 models were introduced for the 2005 model year.
