EXCELLENT!!

This is the greatest science curriculum ever! I don't use it alone though. We frequent the library to supplement what we are learning. But all the worksheets are wonderful! Its very in-depth on most topics and where you feel you need more find a library book. The music although not perfectly on key, are cute songs that are catchy and children learn in a carefree way. I find myself singing the songs as well. The workbook is mostly reproducibles and the teachers guide is all the reading. There is also a yahoo email group (e-group) for people who use and love this curriculum!

Book is wonderful, cd is not so great

I really like the Christian approach to science and the content of the workbook and teacher's book is very thorough and easy to use. However, don't get too excited about the CD included with the program. The actual lyrics would be wonderful for helping the children remember the material but the music and vocals turned my children off to the songs immediately and they now ask to skip that part.

creation week, Considering Gods Creation is a well-written multi-level science program that is neatly divided into 36 lessons. The wonderful teachers guide is indispensable, informative, and family friendly. The easy-to-follow lessons are designed to flow smoothly with a high level of information for students and low level of teacher effort. This is a plus when teaching many levels at one sitting. Reproducible student workbooks are available giving you the option of buying extra workbooks or making copies. Each carefully thought out lesson has accompanying work pages. The variety and quality of these work pages will keep a childs attention. If you assign an older child to work with a younger child on each lesson, they will learn to cooperate. Their hands will be kept busy while you read and teach the lesson. This is homeschooling at its best. Mrs. Mortimer and Mrs. Smith successfully incorporated the wonder of it into their Bible section. They creatively and scientifically selected scripture to support each lesson. Armed with Bibles, you can assign verses for each child to look up, read, and discuss. Well-written multilevel one-year program. Teachers guide is indispensable, informative, and homeschool friendly. Easy-to-follow lessons, high information level, low prep time.
