Hush Puppy Head is awesome!!!

This movie is great--the heavy-set hot 80's chick that has sex and gets her head dumped in batter and then a deep fryer only to come up with a big hush puppy on her head--masterful!!! Please release it on DVD!!!!!!!!!

Not the gem I'd hoped for, but passable.

Blood Diner is the ridiculous tale of two brothers who own a popular vegetarian diner. At the command of their uncle, (A brain with eyes inside of a jar who complains about having lost his private parts), they hack up their customers for ingredients in a "blood buffet". This is all done in an attempt to resurrect a deity that they worship called Sheetar. The brothers race against time to obtain the particular ingredients (body parts) needed for the sacrifice.

If you often find yourself in pursuit of a good 90 minutes of sheer gory idiocy, then this is probably your movie right here. I can honestly say that Blood Diner is one of the gorier movies I've ever seen, and as you can infer from the title, one of the campiest I've ever seen. Although it makes swipes at all cultures and sexual orientations, this movie seems to constantly be referencing nazis and Hitler in particular. One of the brothers wrestles an opponent named Jimmy Hitler, and a later scene features a bar band in which the members are donning full Hitler attire! Blood Diner is clearly one of those movies in which the primary objective is solely to disgust and offend, and judging from some of these other reviews, it succeeded. But in the same token, the horribleness of the whole movie just makes it too goofy to take much offense.

Overall Blood Diner isn't bad for what it is. Granted it's so stupid that your IQ might drop a few notches upon viewing, but hey, you've been warned. The question is: Since it isn't on DVD, is it worth shelling out twenty bucks for a used tape and digging out the old VCR? If you're a big fan of movies like The Toxic Avenger, Street Trash, and others of its kind, then I'd say it's worth it for you. Enjoy!

You have to have a sense of humor

This movie is so funny and you have to have a sense of humor to watch this. It's not meant to be scarry but gross funny. I saw this movie when I was 12 and to this day I am waiting for it to make it to DVD. It is low budget but worth the chuckles.

Overlooked horror comedy gem!

Two odd brothers named Michael and George Tutman (Rick Burks and Carl Crew) have dug up their uncle (Voiced by Drew from his grave only to revive his brain with eyes through an experimental jar that keeps him alive. However they open up a diner where they serve fine quality meals but unknown to the city folks that the food they eat has people in it and of course there's the dismembering of people so they can perform a ritual that could bring a cannibalistic goddess back to life.

A sick and gory yet funny as hell horror comedy from Jackie Kong that has developed a cult following over the years. The acting isn't good at all but there's some shocking scenes of graphic gory violence such as dismemberment, cannibalism, eyeball popping and more including some nudity and a nude martial arts sequence that has to be seen to believed. There's some hot girls like the female officer and some amusing scenes such as the rival vegeterian diner owner who talks with his weird ventriloquist dummy, there's even some dark humor that helps makes this movie a geniune cult fave over the years yet i hear next year it will hit DVD which should be awesome.
