My husband and I took a trip to Barcelona this year and visited this cathedral. I wanted a book that detailed all the areas you were not really able to see at the ground level. I also wanted a bit of the history and explaination of the building. This book gave me everything I was looking for. If you want very detailed pictures of just about everything on the facade, this is the book.

Gaudi cathedral

I saw this cathedral when I was in Spain and it is absolutely breathtaking! I could just stand there and look up with my mouth open. You cannot see all the detail from the ground or take pictures of it so I bought this book at a little shop nearby. My friend wished she had one after we came back so I was able to find it on Amazon--you always can! It shows all the painstaking detail all over the cathedral and gives a history of it's construction. Marvelous book and one of two special places I saw on my trip. Go to Barcelona and see it! HB
