Watches are suitable for price. One received with dead battery. Should have method to activate battery upon receiving product.

30% failure rate

I purchased 10 of these inexpensive watches for my science classes ($3.50 or so each in Nov '09)... Seven of them worked fine - three bit the dust within a week... Each of them came equipped with a battery and I thought that was the problem... I purchased a ten pack of the AG3 / 392 batteries for 2.50 and exchanged the old ones for the fresh set - I still have three bad watches... They are worth the cheap price however, I would buy 30% more than you need and consider their real price to be $4.50 - $5.00 each... Unfortunately, this model now appears to be 20.00 or more... At that price I would steer clear!!!

Easy to use but a little confusing at first. Records time in 100th of second.

The Emerson Economy Stopwatch #136 is the perfect budget stretcher stopwatch. This stopwatch times both single events and timeout activities as well as splits. The Emerson times 1/100th second with lap. It displays month, date and day of week with a daily alarm and hourly chime.
