It's not the most logical thing to use, but almost every Finance course I have been in has required this calculator. Most books use this as the standard, so troubleshooting is a bit easier. If you are a Finance professional, another calculator may work better for you, but for students this is as good as it gets.

The calculator arrived quickly and was in good condition. Would have liked to have had product directions included but it was easy for my son to figure out without the directions

TI BA II Review

I'm using this calculator because it is the only one permitted by the CFA proctors. Otherwise I would choose something else.
The design is old - already other calculators display up to four rows on their screens, this one remained in the early 90's. May be good for someone working in accounting rather than investment banking. It makes you easily forget the FV and PV formulas.
It lacks a lot of complex statistical and math functions used in investment banking.
Buy it if you need it for your CFA exams, otherwise there are plenty of better alternatives.
