Inspired
Much has already been written about this excellent DVD however none of the good points have been over emphasised. The audio and video quality is exceptional throughout and can bring out the very best in a top notch home cinema system.
I introduced the agent who sold me my Theta / Krell / Martin Logan system to this disc and although he was trying to sell me some upgraded Xtreme cards for my Casablanca at the time, he admited that it would be difficult to improve on the sound quality. In relation to the beautiful No Frontiers duet, as he said, you can not only hear every detail of the arrangement but you can truly feel the emotion in the performance. It is a truly moving experience. The picture quality too is very high although to obtain the best from the DVD a display system with good differentiation between blacks and differing shades of grey is required.
The performance itself is almost flawless, in fact the only bum note on this disc, at the end of a piano coda, stands out quite dramatically. However, such is the (justified) confidence in their abilities that rather than brush it under the carpet Jim jokes with his sister and the audience over it. Each member of the family appears completely at home playing a number of instruments, perhaps a testimony to their classical background, as referred to in the excellent review by C. Hsieh of All the Way Home.
A truly exceptional DVD by a truly exceptional group of musicians. If you love music you should have this in your DVD collection.
Incidentally I note with some sympathy the comments on the time it took for this DVD to appear in region 1 format. Normally it is the rest of the world that has to wait for other region code versions to appear and when they do they usually have less features than their region 1 equivalents. Unfortunately it appears that until consumers can find a way of pressuring for the abandonment of the discriminatory region code system every one will have to continue to settle for a less than ideal position.

The Corrs were born for acoustic :)
For the melodies that they have in their songs (including cover songs), it's ideal for acoustic performances. Their family instruments are bohan, tin whistle, piano, guitar and violin. You can see them perform with those instruemtns. Violin sounded really good. So as the Guild guitars you hear in a few songs. The entire show was backed by a full orchestra. The instrumental songs can make you jump up and dance even it's an acoustic setting. Just so that you know, they played the best version of 'Radio' @
Unplugged
.
I just wish that there's another unplugged or acoustic concert dvd in the future. If you haven't look into their album 'Home', go and check it out. You'll be impressed by how far they can go with the genre of music they play. All the irish songs were absolutely beautifully polished if you like acoustic side of the
Corrs
.
This unplugged dvd was recorded professionally. You can see how well they edited. You can feel the chorus is chorus, not just by listening but also seeing. Like Yanni said, the impressions on a performer is just as important as playing. It's an emotional feeling that they want to express when they playing each note or beat. It's all captured in this DVD!
The quality of it is alright as it's recorded and produced a while ago. Don't expect it to be HD or anything. It's always the first dvd that i want to pick up when I decided watch the Corrs in a concert.

very good
The Coors are a very good family group. They mix original Irish rock tunes, traditional celtic sounds and make you appreciate rock standards with the Corr's
touch. A big thumbs up !!
AWESOME!!
Worth every penny that was spent on this DVD. The
Corrs
are extremely talented and nothing showcases their talent like a live performance. One of the things I love most about them is that they are not always perfect (Caroline at the end of Runaway) but they are always professional. I loved the song choice they used for this show and I loved all the different instruments and collabrations that were used. They have never sounded better. I tried to pick a favorite song and honestly I couldn't because the whole show is awesome. I loved the show so much I bought the album version of the show as well.
