Great tool

Purchased this for my mother for Christmas largely due to the fact that I was sick of eating overcook and dried out meats (especially chicken). She LOVES it! Meats are cooked perfectly every time and it is very easy to use.

Highly recommended! Polder Cooking Timer/Thermo

I love my Polder timer/Thermo. I wasn't sure how much I would use it at first, now I can't be without it! My friends love it, and I have ordered 3 more for them. The timer is loud, which helps is I'm out of the kitchen, I can hear it. I also use the timer for the kids when playing their alotted time on the video games, it goes off and they can hear it in the next room. I highly recommend this product, the only improvement would be that it should have 2 timers vs. one.

Exactly what I needed

This is my first wired thermometer and it works great. The tilt screen is very handy and the magnetic back on it sticks nice and solid, no fear of it falling on the floor if it gets bumped. I don't use it constantly but have no problems using the controls on it. Everything is well marked and makes sense, and does what I expect it to do (unlike lots of other devices these days). The alarm is plenty loud, so even if I am in another part of the house I can easily hear it. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.

A wonderful thermometer for any use

This was my first digital thermometer, and it is wonderful! The magnets on the base allow for easy placement on a vent hood or refrigerator. The unit never turns off, which, while conserving battery life, is somewhat disconcerting at first. The probe is removable and has a 90 degree bend at the end of it, to allow for easier placement in food items. The cord is fairly long and allows for placement near anywhere. Having the option to alert you to a certain temperature is invaluable, and the alert is very noticeable, even upstairs. I can't think of a single flaw in this device. The 4-for-3 deal makes this a must buy.
