Not a good value

A lightweight - it works but feels cheap. Not worth the price. I later bought a better quality, better features scale for the same money.

Great little scale

Got the scale to replace a kitchen aid one that worked on springs. It is very light and easy to store. Completely supports one's obsessive personality traits - was that 0.32 or 0.33 oz of almond pieces? With this scale you will know!

Very accurate and useful

This was purchased to replace the similar Soehnle which didn't come as advertised. I tested the Escali with a certified 200-gram test weight and it came out at exactly 200 grams! It does measure in pound and ounces as well as in grams.

Capacity before the "EEEE" overload warning is 5000 grams (5.0 Kg) or about 11
pounds. It does have the very useful tare weight function to "zero out" existing weight of the container or anything else already weighed.

I only wish the 5-inch diameter pan were a little larger, but I can easily live with it. This scale is especially useful in baking where exact weight of ingredients instead of volume is critical.

It works, price was right

Unlike most people, I didn't purchase this for use with food. However, it works fine and come in handy. I certainly wouldn't drop it or bang it anywhere as it seems quite fragile, but otherwise I can't complain much. The three measuring modes with the tare feature are nice to have, and it included batteries. I don't know how accurate it is since I didn't buy any calibration weights (and really for $25 it'll be within +/- a couple of grams I'd bet) but for my needs it seems fine. Made in China, of course.

Great Scale

I use this scale all the time. Haven't had to replace the batteries yet and it's been over a year. It's tough as well. I love it.
