Not as good as "End of the Spear" but interesting info. More of a documentary. Worth watching.

Beyond all expectations

This documentary will keep you on the edge of your seat. You will also feel the emotions of these tightly knit families as they share how there moments of grief have borne much fruit in the salvation of many.

Real story behind "End of the Spear"

I saw the movie "End of the Spear" first, so when the credits showed there was a film of the real story, I got it right away. And "Splendor" didn't disappoint. Beautifully directed, it was interesting to see the back-story of their lives, the women they left behind, and eyewitness accounts. And the more beautiful story is that it didn't end in the 1950s. These simple people now have hope and faith and purpose that they didn't before. Very inspirational. I highly recommend it.

"Beyond the Gates" is a feature length documentary film experience about the Waodani Indians and the missionary men and women who have given their lives to reach them. This powerful emotional journey begins with the Waodani describing their way of life before the missionaries visited them in 1956. Narrated by the son of one of the missionaries and each of the wives of the men who died, the audience takes a nostalgic trip back in time to see how the men and women came to meet up with each other in Ecuador. An inspiring story of forgiveness and love.
