A Decent Thriller/Mystery
Time
of
Fear
is a pretty good thriller about an ex-cop and an FBI agent tracking down a crazy murderer. Nick Mancuso does a good job playing the ex-cop, tormented by the murder of his daughter and driven to find her killer.
If you have seen alot of these films, then you will spot the killer early on but the movie will still be worth watching.
In the aftermath of several brutal murders, FBI Agent Cheryl Hammer (Cheryl Pollak) arrives in a small California town to track the elusive serial killer. But with little aid available from local police, Cheryl turns to the one person she thinks can help: Jack Barone, a grieving father whose daughter was the victim of a similar slaying ten years earlier. Turning to a priest, Father Patrick, for insights into the bizarre nature of the crimes - a perversion of biblical punishments for sins - Cheryl and Jack slowly begin to uncover clues, but not before another young woman is kidnapped. Now the race is on to identify the killer and rescue the girl before she becomes his next victim.
