This is a classic movie that is never played on television, so I just had to have it in my collection. This is an action packed movie and Roy Scheider is superb.

Great movie - they don't make them like this anymore. Actually I don't think theye ever did, with the exception of The French Connection (Scheider was in that too), and Bullitt with Steve McQueen.

A good, straightforward tale

This movie, along with its companion piece The Super Cops, gives you a taste of NYC in the 1970s. While neither are big budget blockbusters like The French Connection & Serpico, both get their storytelling job done efficiently & in a way that'll sitck in your mind for its spareness. I recommend that you buy French Connection & Serpico along with this film & Super Cops, then get The Panic In Needle Park & the first Death Wish, & lastly The Anderson Tapes & Dog Day Afternoon. That collection will allow you to see how bad life was back then in The Big Apple from 3 perspectives (Law enforcement, citizen, & criminal) & how much things have improved by comparison. Not perfect by any stretch, but WAY better than it was, & as a buddy of mine from the Bronx said: "As bad as things were, we could always say that @ least it wasn't like New Jersey & Detroit......YET!", then he'd smile, & that smile made me glad I was living in Oakland/California @ the time!

Great service

Item was as described or better, arrived very quickly, professionally packed. Recommended. Classic Crime Flick. Cult favorite. Car chase is right up there with Bullet and French Connection.

The Seven-Ups is one great movie .. The chase scene is one of the best.

Seven-ups are those criminals due to serve at least that number of year in jail -- if they get caught. Roy Scheider is a cop who catches them.
