Better than you might think

OK, this is published by UNITY, which is a modern Gnostic cult. UNITY does not teach about the Divinity of Christ the right way, plain and simple. So when you look things up in it, you have to keep that in mind. However, it isn't simply another feel good New Age book. It does actually give the the Hebrew meaning of words, and I've seen other fundamentalist type Bible dictionaries that don't. If you're looking to put a positive spin on some of the darker passages of the Old Testament, this can be a good start. Since I'm an orthodox (with a little "o") Christian, I don't agree with UNITY, or everything in this book, but it is still worth a read, and a used copy is pretty cheap. I think my biggest problem with it is the people who publish it.
