A Good History Of The Last Romanovs

While I disagree with the somewhat neo-monarchist views of Mr. Robert K. Massie, I will admit that his book holds a particular amount of merit for any Romanov enthusiast. Mr. Massie is an expert at crafting a historical piece of literature, into a pleasing story for anyone, and he does so here with startling effect. While I may disagree with Mr. Massie's sympathetic views I give Nicholas and Alexandra a "thumbs up" for the fantastic prose, and enduring image of the royal couple.
