Gary Jennings was an extraordinary researcher. He brings out the fact that ancient astrology was indeed astronomy. Somewhere along the line of time this science was seperated into what is today know as astrology, and reading one's life in the stars. The original ancient study of the sky is an interesting art, which is long lost. However, our modern day astronomers do a magnificient job. And Gary Jennings does as well in this book.
