Thirty Seconds over Tokyo VHS

I would strongly recommend this to anyone. It is very Realistic especially when it comes to portraying the Chinese they way they were at this time of WW2, I was there.

Excellent movie about an amazing mission

My father owns a copy of the original printing of Ted Lawson's book, on which this movie is based. I've read the book twice and found this movie very closely follows the book's storyline. What these men accomplished is one of the great stories of WWII and exemplifies America's can-do attitude during the war years. There's lots of actual footage blended with recreated scenes featuring real bombers, and no cheesy special effects with aircraft models. Warbird buffs will love this, too -- the B-25 is an elegant bird.

30 Seconds Over Tokyo

Great classic movie that spotlights the sacrifices of the WWII generation, and in particular the first men to hit Japan in retribution for Pearl Harbor. Spencer Tracy was great as Jimmy Doolittle, who led the first raid. Special effects were very good for a 1940s movie, and some actual footage of the launching of the raid were included.
