The Taming Of Jessie Rose 
Beverly Jenkins is awesome. Not only are her love scenes hot but you are given a wealth of historical knowledge regarding the reconstruction and subsequent jim crow period in our history. She is able to make you proud of our contributions and especially proud of our black men and the way they treat their families and women. She is great and the stories have plots that hold your interest and keep you wanting more.

I love beverly jenkins as an author. Her heroines are strong black women and it takes an strong black man to handle them. Her books are so good because you know there going to get together but the way she takes to get you there is so great you wont mind reading it agian because it only gets better.

As always, I had fun reading Ms. Beverly's romance historical novels. The saga between Jessie Rose, Joth(nephew), Griffin Blake, Neil, Two Shaft, the Preacher kept me reading. I am not reading these books in any particularly order. But I was already familiar with Neil, Two Shaff and the Preacher by reading previous books.
My goal is to read all of her books over the next month or so. I am taking temporary break from the history oriented books. I would also advised those who read Ms. Jenkin's works to read all of her historical romances first. Her contemporary works always refer to the characters ancestors. So when they are mentioned, you will know exactly whom she is talking about.

I have read most of Beverly Jenkins books and it is getting harder to find the older books. This book was delivered in a few days and I enjoyed it just like all of her other books. I will continue ordering books from Amazon because they have books that you can not find in books stores. All of Beverly Jenkins characters seem so real and the romance is written as if you were there. Beverly Jenkins is a wonderful romance writer and I just enjoy her books.
