Great Lounger

These are a little heavy, if you want to take them someplace, but wow, they work perfect for sitting around the pool, and resting.
I found they were a good buy, and free shipping made them extra special;)

Great chair for the $$$

We were looking for an inexpensive lounge chair that was heavy enough NOT to blow away in the wind - yet light enough to be easy to store. BINGO! This chair folds up into it's own bag... perfect if you do not have a lot of storage. Also - we live in Nevada - it gets WINDY here - this chair is surprisingly sturdy, comfy and a great buy - plus free shipping? You can't go wrong. Don't think it is super portable though (it's not flimsy) - we got it - opened it up as an "extra" lounge chair on the patio - and there it will stay until winter (this is not a chair you are going to lug to the beach/pool). One tip - get a patio pillow/outdoor pillow to put behind you - and you'll be more comfy for reading. This chair is also adjustable - and we were completely surprised at how well made this is for a chair at this price-point. It's a deal - and we love the fact it will not take up room in the garage this winter. You fold it up (umbrella style) - pack in the bag and it fits in a closet. Simple, comfy, quality made and great price.

Exactly what I was looking for

I own a couple of the ubiquitous foldable camping chairs, the kind you buy at Walmart or REI for less than $20 and you always carry in the back of your truck. Granted they are super convenient, but I frankly never found them that comfortable.
My search for a better alternative led me to the Strathwood Lounge Chair and I found it to be the ideal compromise between heavier, hard to carry patio furniture and the flimsy chairs I was referring too. I found the Strathwood chair to be rather well built and I haven't had any issue with tears or hinges yet. The one thing you should be aware is that this lounge chair is fairly heavy and quite a bit larger when folded than regular chairs. But the comfort is in my opinion well worth it.

For the price, good as an extra lounge chair, not your main one

I got this chair not long ago. I've had some great naps in it outside. The Amazon description says it's not meant to be left outside year round, but it's too heavy and cumbersome to put it away and take it out every time I want to take a nap, so I'm leaving it outside. After not having the chair all that long, the elastic material is already stretching. Now I'm having to add pillows for comfort. If it gets to the point where I need a chaise lounge cushion, I think I'll rather buy a new, more expensive chair, then fold this one up and put it away.
