Greatest Female Soul Vocalists of the Contemporary Era
There is no doubt that she is the best. However, I find it very difficult to listen to her songs because I reminisce on who she used to be, and what her voice was once capable of doing, and then I have to come to terms with what life with Bobby Brown and drugs have done to her and her voice. She can no longer reach the high notes that she used to. She is physically no longer who she used to be, and by this I am not referring in any way to her age. And sadly this influences the way I view her music. She has completely ruined the image of the black woman and she has disrespected herself and the rest of us. Her last album MY LOVE IS YOUR LOVE, in my opinion, marked the beginning of the end in my eyes. Although I have the album, and listen to it, it still brings to my mind the tragedy that Whitney Houston is. I don't know if the rest of you will agree with me on the view of her music, but I will say... She is and always will be there greatest vocalist of all times, but the worst example for black women and every other woman on the face of the planet.

Finally!!
Finally! Whitney Houston decides to release an Ulitmate
Collection
of her greatest hit songs. I know she released her Greatest Hits package back in 2000, but we all know that was tragic. With all the remixes of her great songs. Now with this collection, it has all the original songs and all are remastered. Who can ever forget this woman, with her amazing voice. I've been there with her from the start with 1985's "You Give Good Love". Now the last 2 albums she has released "Just Whitney" and "One Wish", were not up to her standards. I am glad she did not include any tracks from those albums on this collection. The only flaw I have to this album is that it is missing a few
Ultimate Hits
, like "You Give Good Love" #3 hit,"All The Man I Need" #1 hit,"Miracle" #9 hit,"Heartbreak Hotel" #2 hit,"Love Will Save The Day" #9 hit,"My Name Is Not Susan" #20 hit,"I Believe In You & Me" #4 hit,"Step By Step" #15 hit,and "Count On Me" #8 hit. Besides those songs missing, this is an Ultimate collection by the one and only Whitney Houston. I recommend this album to you!

Love Whitney
Oh, my God this is the best thing ever. All of Whitney's best known hits. Her voice is the best ever. The songs are classics with the help of her angelic voice. Love Whitney, no one else compares.
Great Collection
One of the Greatest Vocalist Ever and a timeless Instrument is the words thatg i would use to describe Whitney Houston. Her voice is so Soulful and she is a versatile artist. these songs capture a time period and she leaves a lasting mark with her range and tone. a must have for Whitney Houston fans.
"How Will I Know" Remastered!!!! Enough reason to buy this CD.
The ONLY reason I bought this CD, as I already have ALL of Whitney Houston's better albums on CD, was for the remastering of "How Will I Know", the GREATEST POP SONG............EVER!!!!! However, after giving the full CD a listen, I was more than happy to have the entire CD. All of her great songs from back in the 80's and early 90's are included here and, there are no stupid remixes that take away from the song itself. The only exception to that rule is "I'm Your Baby Tonight" which, I believe, is a bit different from the original. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with the newer mix, it's EXCELLENT, much better than the original version. So, if you're like many people who have her Double-Disc Greatest Hits CD that included the AWFUL remixes which RUINED the songs, pick this up. The songs are crisp, clear, and filled with the energy and that amazing voice which has made Whitney Houston one of the greatest singers of ALL TIME.

2007 UK single-disc
collection from
the R&B and Pop vocalist, one of the biggest, and best-selling, female artists of all time. She's broken countless records throughout her career, has had consistent success in music and in film, since her debut single "Saving All My Love For You" in 1985. Her music combined big adult ballads with stylish pop and slick contemporary urban soul and her voice is a benchmark that has not since been equaled. This 18 track compilation features her absolute best hits including 'I Will Always Love You', 'Greatest Love Of All', 'Exhale (Shoop Shoop)', 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody', 'Saving All My Love For You' and many more. The previous Greatest Hits collection was a two CD set that featured remixes and more, but this single-disc collection offers the cream of the crop! Sony/BMG.
