It's the little things...
I'm a fan of
Jillian from
the Biggest Loser TV show, and like so many others would give my right arm to have her as my very own personal trainer to bust my butt into fine shape. I have her other DVDs, but they just didn't have staying power for me. There wasn't enough to keep me interested and wanting to come back for more, no matter how much I loved her on the small screen and believed in her training.
This DVD has its flaws, but overall it's well worth the money. As mentioned by other reviewers, you can't skip past the intro or the beginning commentary (you only need the talk once...if that), which is annoying if you do this DVD every
day like
I do...but I've managed to put up with it so far.
What I really love about this DVD is that it's simple. These are routines that I won't need the DVD for after a while (or even now if I bothered to jot them down on paper), so I can do them just about anywhere if I pop on some headphones and get at it (you will need hand weights, etc. but not too big of a deal when you're traveling). Right now, I'll enjoy watching Jillian and her cut body...just imagining what mine COULD look like some day if I stick with it (I can dream folks).
The work out was definitely more challenging than I thought it would be, and winded me during pretty good. However, afterwards I felt great and the next morning I wasn't overly sore (you know the kind of soreness where it even hurts to be a desk monkey all day?). I am thinking about coupling this with Turbo Jam Cardio Party (45 min session) to pack some extra punch. I just feel guilty about only doing 20 minutes of exercise, but appreciate its convenience on days when I don't have a lot of time. However, I do wish that there was an option for an extended workout so I could really get some more bang for my buck on days when I do have the time.
This DVD and turbo jam cardio party have to be my two favorite work outs thus far. They both keep my coming back for more and the results are quick and amazing (you'll be strong in no time).

knows her stuff. Having different levels ensures that workouts are designed to fit everyone's fitness needs. The exercises tone your body and they really work you hard. I will buy her other videos.

Great at home staple!
This is a great workout with minimal equipment needed. Well instructed and easy to follow in a circuit training style, it's easy to see that this DVD will give any one results. For someone who works out at a gym regularly this will be a great supplement or add on to my routine. All you need is a set of hand weights and a mat, which makes it even more convenient.

a total body workout in just 20 minutes! I sure felt it the next
day
. I was so sore from such a short workout, that my husband laughed at me...the next day, I made him start at level two. Three days later (after his sore behind healed), he apologized! Awesome workout, with little extra equipment (dumbbells) and very efficient use of time. I would highly recommend this to anyone short on time, but looking for a work-up-a-sweat workout. On a side note, I signed up for her internet diet plan... it's a waste of time and money. Just do the workout.
