Crusade

Crusade is one of those books that you pick up to read and can't put down until you are finished. Every line keeps you on your toes, wondering what exciting action is going to happen next. The only disappointing moment is when you finish and quickly order the triqual. I have read the first two novels and am now waiting less than patiently for the third novel to be published and sent out by Amazon. Thanks MS Robyn Young and Amazon.

Excellence

The second in Robyn's books relative to historical Knight Templars and the world they lived in was excellence in writing. As a modern day Templar, found the presentation of how the Templars lived, the human way they dealt with the rigid rules of the order, human weaknesses skirting the rules at times, fascinating and very true to the order as taught and understood by Knights of the Temple today. I am looking forward to the final book this fall. The author does take a few liberties with historical fact, mostly exact time periods, and beautifully molds it to a very smooth flowing story of historical fiction. Would highly recommend this author.

Superb Historical Fiction

Set in the 13th Century England and the Holy Land, Crusade is one of the finest works of historical fiction I have ever read. Young's writing enthralls you and keeps you mesmerized throughout the entire book. An excellent read about an era of history that is not widely taught in U.S. schools. VERY well done!

Crusade 2nd book of a trilogy

This book was every bit as good as the first book Brethren. It is a continuation of the story of a knight during the 1200's and the battle between Islam and Christianity. Apropro for these times. The book is engaging and keeps moving. The characters age and have multiple adventures. The main theme is an attempt by a select group of the Templars to keep peace between the Jews, Christians, and Islam. Not an easy task. Very historic and timely book.

The second volume in the internationally bestselling Brethren trilogy, Crusade is gripping historical fiction that ?grows more relevant by the day? (Raymond Khoury, bestselling author of The Last Templar)

An international bestseller, Crusade is a fast-paced medieval adventure portraying the rising tide of political pressures that led East and West to war in the 13th century.

After years of bloodshed, peace finally reigns in the Middle East, in part due to the efforts of Will Campbell and a mysterious group known as the Brethren. However, a cabal of ruthless Western merchants aims to reignite war in the Holy Land, while Prince Edward?once a trusted member of the Brethren?has made a promise to the pope: he will take the Cross to Jerusalem and lead a new crusade. To survive the escalating conflict and protect his family, Will must harness all his knowledge and courage.
