The monitor came with a conspicuous dead pixel (permanently blue green) in the northeast quarter. Its a small detail for a monitor at this price, but definitely a sign of bad qa/qc. If you're willing to spend a little more, opt for Dell's new 22" 2209W which comes with a 3 year warranty (much better than Acer's pay-per-call 'service') and higher res (1080p equiv.).

Ive had this lcd monitor for about 2months already and I have not seen any problems with it. Like you might have heard in other reviews, the response time is kind of slow, i dont even see the boot up options. Other than that is a pretty good monitor especially for the price.

Great deal!

Mine starts right up, I can see the bios screen immediately. I love how you can change the colors based on gaming, movie, or others, warm or cold. Great brightness, had to turn it down to 50 because it was so bright out of the box. Would highly recommend!

Used this monitor for a month now

I've used this monitor for a month now and I have no complaints. I mainly use this monitor for online games and internet. I have noticed that when the screen is black, especially if you have a black background, then there is light bleed at the top and bottom of the monitor. But, unless you are using your monitor to watch movies in a dark room, it's not something you will notice after you've been using it for awhile.

Other then that, the dvi cable is a bit short, you might want to buyt a longer one depending on where you have your PC.

Overall, I think this is a great monitor especially for the resolution it can provide and the price.

very good computer monitor

The Acer V223-WBD is a very good monitor. It has a very clean images. The company who sold it through Amazon.com was very prompt with the shippng. It arrived ahead of schedule by a day.
