Excellent publication, include all the O to 9 issues plus a supplement. For everyone interested in conceptual writing and constraint literature: this is the beginning of it all (at least the modern phase).

A memoir worth reading
I could relate to this memoir - everyone is dysfunctional in their own way, but Gilbert isn't afraid to put herself out there. I admired her writing style, her wit and ability to laugh at herself. She is poignant about issues that many people face everyday. Interesting perspectives on three different cultures which richly contrast with American life.

Batman: The Killing Joke
This is one of the best Batman Comics. Great artwork and story! Well, I'm a great Joker fan and I like almost everything of his stories but this one is really really good! It also comes in great hardcover with some extra materials inside. If you want a great Joker and Batman story, you should buy this comic book! Gretings from Croatia :)

If you are buying a Kindle and are new at the game, this is a worthwhile investment. It gives you all sorts of information you may not pick up on from the Kindle Users Guide. It has the bonus of regular updates on the Kindle and the promise of a no-cost copy of the finished book when it is published later this year [2008]. You also can get a bunch of links to interesting Kindle websites. I have ...

Fantastic, Easy-to-read, Informative Book
After watching my sister go through several Auto Tech classes to learn how to work on a car, I was intimidated by the amount of time & money I thought it would take to get the same knowledge. Then I found this book. I've been a faithful reader of the Dummies books for a long time, and this one just reinforced my opinion of them. After reading this book, I am able to change my own oil, check & ...

Excellent!!!
If you have never read a Simon Singh book, it's time to begin now! While most Singh books can seem a bit boring when you read the synopsis (can a book about codes really be interesting??), this is not the case. He has a wonderfull way of explaining complicated things in an understandable way. I will also highly recommend "Fermat's enigma" and "Big bang".

Welcome to the Underdark and the realm of the drow...
Salvatore grabbed our attention with the Icewind Dale trilogy, and one of the heroes of that unlikely group of friends was Drizzt Do'Urden, a drow (or dark elf, as they are often called). To our delight, Salvatore's next project, dubbed the Dark Elf trilogy, served as a prequel, to tell us about Drizzt's past, and to introduce us to the world of the drow. I cannot recall another author who so ...

A master of the English language provides another oddly wonderful tale
Dean Koontz, in my opinion, is one of the reigning masters of the English language. His words are carefully chosen, assembled into beautifully expressive sentences. He can conjour up and immerse the reader into a scene, whether it be swirling fog, the sea, a candlelit room. I am so tempted to quote extensively from "Odd Hours", for there are so many almost lyrical passages, but I won't ...

I've become a regular fan of "Stephanie Plum" series. Evanovich is a fabulous writer. I've read this one and the previous 13 books in this series. Chances are good you'll like this one
This smart book will make you think. Academic yet easy to read, it explores how random events shape the world and how human intuition fights that fact. I found this point fascinating. It never occurred to me that our brains naturally want to see patterns and order, and life doesn't necessarily work like that. It's comforting to think of an orderly world, with everything in its place, running ...

A gem that will always sit upon my shelf
I read this book not knowing what lay ahead. All I knew that Katherine had been John of Gaunt's long time mistress who bore him four children. But from the first sentence I was hooked. I was taken back to a time that I have so longed to explore-the 1300's and the Plantagenet rule. As I read, I saw Katherine and her world so clear that it was if I could have been there myself. I felt glad when ...
