Oxo Good Grips Cake Tester
I've been using wooden toothpicks "forever" in order to test my baked goods. I decided to give this a try and I'm glad I did. It's a winner, and is particularly helpful for those baked goods that are in deeper dishes, as the Oxo is about 4" long -- that's 2" longer than a toothpick! Well worth the money.

I bought this pan after reading a recommendation for it on someone's blog. I don't regret making this purchase, even though it took a little more organisation from England. I only regret not buying two pans.
The brownies come up beautifully. I can highly recommend the marbled brownies (brownie with cheesecake topping) that come as one of the suggested recipes in the packaging.

These are neat little bowls to own and come in handy in the kitchen. I like to make my own seasoning blends and have found them useful when measuring out whole and ground spices. Also when pinched together, the mini pinch bowl doubles as a funnel when transferring a small amount of spices to a jar. I think they are a worthwhile inexpensive investment.

Just love this pan - have made several of these cakes for friends birthdays, and they get a kick out of it.
Only this is that after baking, in order to get two pieces to sit right together, you must cut off some of the cake. I have not figured out how to get cakes to bake flatter. My Wilton Magi-cake strips slide off.
