I love this thing!
I picked this mini blender up at Wally World a few weeks ago and have been pleasantly surprised by its power and utility. Haven't had any problems blending frozen fruit or ice cubes. I suspect that some users aren't putting enough liquid in, hence the negative reviews, but if you do it right, this thing will work like a charm.

I was having trouble making strawberry smoothies for my kids' breakfasts with our old blender. It just couldn't handle whole frozen strawberries. My husband and I use the blender every day at breakfast. This is our second Braun - the one before lasted us @ 3 years - the plastic "teeth" on the cutter blade finally broke off from all the use. I love that it's made of glass and not plastic. This blender stands up to crushing ice cubes with no problems. We've also used it to make baby food (purees). For the price, you really can't go wrong.
