A great first waffle maker for a novice
This is my first waffle maker, and I'm quite pleased with it so far. I wasn't an aficionado before, but after two months of delicious waffles, I think I'm becoming one.

Expensive but worth it
I had reservations about the cost of the Krups, but now that I've had it for a month, it is well worth the cost. It is relatively foolproof to cook delicious waffles and is very easy to clean, as the plates snap out for washing. I had also looked at the Waring Waffle Maker, which is about the same price, but does not have the removeable plates. I highly recommend this product.

This waffle machine makes it much easier to make a meal for the family in short time. The batter did go over the edges a few times before I figured out how much batter to use but that's fine. It's a waffle maker - it happens! Clean up was fine. Best feature was the quick cooking time. I had 24 waffles for dinner and 24 for the freezer in no time.
