I love this waffle maker. I've had mine for at least 4 years and have never had a problem with it. I make waffles quite often so it is well used. However, I do use a non stick spray so have no problem with anything sticking. I was surprised to hear that some have had problems with theirs after just a few uses. Perfect for My 100 Year Old Mother
This is a near perfect device for my mother who is 100 years old and whose eyesight is poor. She is able to pour water into the teakettle, press the lever, and water is boiling soon for her tea. I purchased a Chef's Choice Slicer that came with a serrated edge blade which was good for slicing bread but horrible on meat and cheese. If your thinking of buying one then you need this blade.
