I was a little worryied about a product that didn't smoke because my parents had a electric grill and was unhappy with, but to my surprise it works great. It takes a little time to wash if you use Dawn Disolve on it makes alot easier.

High design toaster
This is a beautiful looking toaster with a warming rack, which is hard to find in the US. It toasts somewhat uneven with one side of the toast darker than the other. It also humms when toasting. However, the automatic lift and signal when toasting is done are great. It is also very easy to clean as the whole base functions as crumb catcher.

i bought this for its retro look and asthetic chrome gleam, but was i surprised to find it works wonderfully. i have had for 6 years, with no problems. it still toasts my bread and bagels evenly, and even cooks toaster hashbrowns. this is a top notch toaster, and still looks like new.
