I'd had the experience of trying to be too cheap (bought a plastic blender from Wal-Mart for $13), and was worried I wouldn't be able to find anything within my price range that actually worked. This blender wasn't much more expensive, and works perfectly. You just need to add enough liquid to start, and after that it blends ice and frozen fruit with no problems.

Perfect- but just a little confusing
I have been using a silpat pan liner for two years and finally got around to buying a few more so I would be able to make several batches of cookies and french macaroons. It is so much easier to work with than parchment paper, there is simply no comparison.
