Very aptly named. Love the "versatility" of this slow cooker!
I absolutely love this slow cooker. The convenience of browning and cooking in the same pot is really a time and mess saver. I have an older version of this West Bend slow cooker, which also has the griddle and metal pot and is probably at least 15 years old - and, it still works! The griddle is a wonderful feature. Great Slow Cooker
I had a Rival 6 qt. programmable crockpot, but it was WAY too hot. It dried everything out even if I used low and switched to warm -- it kept boiling away. I have used this 3-4 times and it seems to cook nice and slow and doesn't dry things out. So far I am VERY pleased.

13 years and still going
I own an older version of this. I bought it in 1995. It is a 300 watt as opposed to the 225 watts this one has.
Mine has a glass lid that doubles as a 2 quart casserole. These latest models all seem to have handles. I think mine is a 4 quart.
These are absoutely the BEST slow cookers. They're so versatile and stand up really well.

I've had two of these kettles and like the design, the whistle, and the quickness with which it heats. However, both kettles eventually began to leak after a couple of years. If you buy one, I suggest making sure you pour out any remaining water once you've used it, and don't accidentally overfill.
