This pot is perfect for making Chinese hot pot dinners. It heats up quickly and is perfect for serving a 2-4-person shabu shabu. We also use it for grilling Chinese pancakes and making potstickers. Fantastic. You should note that if you prefer white rice, $200 for a rice cooker might not be necessary. What I really like about this is how well it does brown rice. It's not actually that simple to do brown rice correctly, or at least quick. I previously had a cheapo rice cooker that generally scalded the bottom and would leave some hard rice kernels when it did brown rice.

Pretty great coffee maker
I ordered this coffee maker after breaking the carafe of my old Krups machine. It makes very good coffee, looks great, and is simple to use. I ordered a Cuisinart gold filter to use with this pot and it fits pretty well where a paper filter would go. The carafe keeps my coffee hot for hours with no thermal plate. It is tall but has a (relatively) small footprint, great for my tiny kitchen.

Makes good white bread and great French-style bread (crunchy crust but not hard). The bread toasts well be the pieces are too tall to fit into an ordinary toaster. It's fairly large if you have space constraints. Very quiet, doesn't get too hot. Has a delay timer that's easy to use, and an "other ingredient" beep for adding that which should only be stirred in.
An excellent bred maker.

this product is awesome!
i just used this to clean my pot. my pot was in a sorry state, with bits of i don't know what floating down at the bottle. the instructions were simple and clear, very easy to follow. when it was all done, i had a pot that was so clean that the last time i saw it this way it must've been brand new.

Great update to Zojirushi's bento line!
I have several lunch jars from Zojirushi -- Mr. Bento, Mini Bento, and now this updated version of the Classic Bento. All the containers are great in terms of reducing costs spent on eating out, minimizing the garbage of packing lunches in disposable containers, and even helping with portion control for weight loss.
So while they're all great, I gotta say that of the three Zojirushi lunch jars ...

This is a great little rice cooker. Makes 2 cups with ease. Fast cook, and the pot cleans real easy. Use the included cup, and use the measurements on the side of the pan to fill with water. The rice will come out perfect every time.
