Entrepreneur 20 reviews
Entrepreneur Media Inc
This is my favorite magazine EVER! The first time I read Entrepreneur Magazine, I was delighted. I thought, "These are my people! They think like I do, they are creative like I am, and they are determined to succeed like I am."
I read so many stories about people who walked away from their regular jobs and lives to pursue their passion. I related to their stories because I had done the same. I resigned from my advertising ...

Money (1-year) 16 reviews
The Time Inc. Magazine Company, 2001
(Easy) Money Not real bright on financial matters? Need commen-sense broken down into even simplier terms? Then, this magazine is for you. Written by what I suspect are a bunch of journalism graduates in New York City with no idea about what they are writting, living in New York City (a stupid idea on writer's salary), I am ashamed to say that I will continue subscribing just to see the monthly picture of ...

Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine 29 reviews
Kiplinger Washington Editors, 2001
Kiplinger's ..... simply the best. The only financial / investment magazine that didn't want to tell me what to do with that "extra" 10K -25K I have laying around and have been wondering what to do with. Kiplinger's has never made me feel like I shouldn't be reading a financial magazine at all because my home cost less than a million dollars and my portfolio isn't in the high six-figures. That itself is priceless.

Keep your mind sharp with the Harvard Business Review I've been subscribing to The Harvard Business Review for most of my career, and have been very pleased. Staying current with new ideas and new concepts is such an important part of being an effective leader in today's dynamic organization.

SmartMoney (1-year) 37 reviews
Hearst Magazines
Great Magazine Smart Money is a great fit for the average person who craves investment information, but doesn't feel the need to spend a lot of money on the "Big Boys" like the Wall Street Journal or Barron's.
I read Barron's as well and while it's a fabulous publication, most everyday folks don't want to spend $180 for a year's subscription. At $18 for 24 issues of Smart Money, you really can't go wrong. ...

Complex Topics, Easy Reading I ordered this magazine on a whim with some airline miles that were about to expire. I didn't expect much, so I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I look forward to receiving each issue- the articles tackle complex issues, but are easy to read. The articles are original, interesting, and insightful. I subscribe to several business magazines, and this is the only one that I consistently ...

Mother Jones 28 reviews
Foundation for National Progress, 2001
Good left leaning muckraking magazine I lean left politically and was looking for a magizine to inform and get me thinking. I tried several others, including The Nation, and settled on and subscribed to Mother Jones. While the magazine leans left, it does so in a more informed and intellectually honest way, as opposed to a rah rah banner waving way. It mixes in a bit more social commentary and investigation as opposed to political ...

Fortune (1-year) 24 reviews
The Time Inc. Magazine Company, 2001
Coffee, tea, Forbes, or Fortune? If you need to keep abreast of financials and business on a monthly basis, Forbes and Fortune are the two conventional choices.
I started reading Fortune - and subscribing - four years ago when I realized that the business people with whom I associated regularly simply assumed that one knew any news or analysis that broke in its pages. It fits as a must-read monthly overview in my reading ...

Forbes 29 reviews
Forbes
Replaced Fortune with Forbes After subscribing to Fortune for years, I now only read Forbes. While Fortune offered great articles, most were very wordy. With little time to devote to reading, Forbes articles are to the point, well written, and offer a similar content (read take-away) as Fortune. If time were not a factor, I would read both. Forbes provides a different "flavor" than the other periodicals available.
