BBC Good Food 7 reviews
BBC Worldwide Publishing
Love the magazine, too high subscription price! I absolutely love this magazine - I was first introduced to it when I visited England last year. I highly recommend getting it, but the subscription price is excessively high, IMHO. I've been able to buy it at Border's stores for approximately $6 an issue. I suppose if it's worth it to you to get it delivered for an extra $2 a month, go for it. But I'm one of those weird people who thinks a ...

Pillsbury Classic Cookbooks 2 reviews
Classic Cookbooks/Pillsbury
Good food fast I subscribed to this magazine when I found out that over time, I'd accumulated over 20 issues of it just picking it up at the checkout counter at my local grocery store every now and then. I must admit, even though the subscription is a bit pricey, it is a great buy and to me at least, worth every penny. I await it with great expectation each month wondering what tasty novelties they've come up ...

Delicious - Australia 4 reviews
News Magazines
It's great! Pity it's so expensive here This is one of the best food magazines anywhere, and comes from Australia. Some insight into the modern australian food and lifestyle, as well as great photos. I have made lots of things from it that always work out well and are often quite innovative without being overly tricky. Has celebrity chef's recipes (Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson, Jull Duplex) as well as unknowns. I get my mother to send ...

Expensive, but worth EVERY Penny I discovered this "magazine" while employed as the Reference and Instructional Librarian at a Culinary College. The four annual HARDCOVER issues arrive with just one ad - the back cover. The recipe quantities are typically for a family size rather than the mass serving quantities. This is important to note because this magazine IS very much oriented towards the professional or the very ...

American Vegan 1 review
American Vegan Society
I have just received mine. I was pleased to receive this magazine, which seems to have been in publication for quite a while and has given me very complete information which I have seen before, but it is better to have it all in one source. It had a nice story about a man serving hot dogs and his vegetarian dog, which relieved my dog and I, since she is mostly a vegetarian.

Best cooking magazine I pick up a lot of cooking magazines and usually am disappointed but Table was the best I have seen in a while. All the recipes were original yet simple to make. Homestyle not fancy.

Wine Discoveries 2 reviews
Wine Discoveries
Superb Resource A couple of years ago I attended a "pot luck" wine tasting party at which most guests brought wines ranging from $15-$25 per bottle. It was enjoyable and educational to compare and contrast that characteristics of the various lovely wines. But as I presented my entry, it drew special attention because of the bright magenta price tag on it with large numbers emblazened across it - $5.95.
As I ...

A Sip in Time A friend introduced me to this fun magazine. Without being ponderous, it has more useful and accessible information than I've seen in one food or wine journal in a long time. I've learned practical things like not to buy the econony sized vermouth, 'cause it won't keep well once opened, or the best sparkling ciders, what wine to bring as a dinner party gift, and why Guinness tastes better in ...

Everyday Food 40 reviews
Martha Stewart Living
Not only for collecting, you can actually cook from it Out of all of my subscriptions this one that gets used the most. The magazine is small but not hard on they eyes and it fits in my bag perfectly so I can take it with me, read it on the bus and by the time I hop off I can use it as my shopping list in any grocery store. I would usually scan or photocopy a recipe from a book or magazine or write out the ingredients but this cuts all those steps, I ...

Great Kosher Restaurants Magazine 1 review
Great Kosher Restaurants Mag
MAGAZINE CAN BE SHIPPED IN A WEEK Hi, I am the publisher of the Great Kosher Restaurants Magazine.
Just wanted to inform everyone that despite the fact the Amazon states that the magazine, if ordered, will ship in 6 to 12 months, will in fact be shipped within one week of placement of the order. The 6 to 12 month statement is just a standard statement for all annual publications.
You can also check out the entire ...

Great Magazine for Foodies Dont Pay for this Magazine. Locate your local upscale/fine dining restaurant and talk to the chef. More than likely he/she already has a copy comming to them. Guess what, they get it for FREE, and can get you the coupon to get it free as well. Dont pay for it if you can get it for free.

Sunset Magazine, 2001
I love this magazine I've subscribed to Sunset for years because I love the California lifestyle articles on gardening, building and dining. I dropped the subscription for awhile and missed it, so I renewed. Now my daughter lives in northern California and I can relate to the vacation and travel articles, too.

Really well put together I first saw this magazine at my dentist's office and couldn't put it down. This is definitely not Martha Stuart style. Rather it is a practical magazine that gives you great ideas for cooking and other aspects of your life. I was really impressed with the week of recipes they plan for you and the SHOPPING LISTS!! They prepare for you so that you don't have to do any extra thinking. I think ...

Saveur 33 reviews
World Publications, Inc., 2001
Excellent writing, good recipes The articles in Saveur are informative, comprehensive, accurate, and well-written. While some of the ingredients in the recipes are hard to find even in urban areas, the recipes are always consistent and authentic (at least I know them to be authentic for the regions with which I am familiar). Highly recommended.
