Robb Report 8 reviews
CurtCo. Publishing LLC, 2001
Please Don't Be Jealous! It's very easy to hate this magazine. This periodical is geared towards a very select audience who don't see paying $125,000 for a watch or $5,500,000 for a summer house as a "out of reach" and find the price of this subscription pitifully cheap. It can very easily inspire class envy, because after reading for while, it becomes quite clear, page after glossy page: there are many people out there ...

Arizona Highways Magazine 4 reviews
Arizona Highways, 2002
Absolutely gorgeous I have only been to Arizona one time, but this magazine takes me back there and makes me long for a return trip. Every month when I receive an issue, I am able to relax in its beauty, for this magazine has some of the most astonishing photographs of any magazine I have ever read.
But it's not just the photos that make this a good buy. Stories of local natives and their history, wonders of ...

France 5 reviews
Evergreen Marketing, 2001
Best magazine for francophiles If you love France and all things French, then this is the magazine for you. I read it cover to cover whenever it comes out. Articles might be about such well known places as Carcassonne or Avignon. Others are about small-town festivals that you probably have never heard of. If you want to practice your French, then read "Mot à mot" both in French and English. This is a magazine that you will ...

Southern Living (2-year) 9 reviews
Southern Progress, 2001
Best of All My Subscriptions I subscribe to lots of magazines, but if I could only have one, it'd be Southern Living. I'm always thrilled when my copy arrives. It has it all: food/gardens/home/travel/party ideas. I hope to be a subscriber as long as I can still see well enough to even look at the pictures. You don't have to be a southerner, but it helps. If you're not one, just pretend you are. I don't see how you could be ...

Great Magazine I love this magazine. It has so much in it that you don't get anywhere else. The event lists are terrific. The magazine focuses on a town or area each month detailing what to see and do. It also spotlights a state park each month. These are things you don't get in any other magazine that I know of. It's the one magazine I read cover to cover each month.

British Heritage 5 reviews
Weider History Group, Inc., 2001
Rule, Britannia! 'British Heritage' has been one of my favourite magazines since my childhood. I learned much of British history, country life, culture, and style from this magazine. Despite the occasional categorisation under Archaeology in some guides and libraries, this magazine is in fact a remarkably broad-based publication that examines various aspects of British life. I think the Queen might be a bit ...

The New Yorker (2-year) 5 reviews
Conde' Nast Publications
Some of the finest long non- fiction pieces Although I often disagree with the 'New Yorker' politically and find the writing of Seymour Hersh offensive I believe that the 'New Yorker' publishes exceptionally fine pieces of non- fiction. I stress the non- fiction because this is what interests me in 'the New Yorker now'.Once it was the fiction of Salinger, Singer, of S.J. Perelman. But in recent years it has been the writing of Malcolm ...

The New York Observer 2 reviews
The New York Observer, 2001
The Insider's Guide to NYC If I had to pick one newspaper that captured the drama of NYC it would be the New York Observer. Unlike any newspaper (the New York Times, the Village Voice) or magazine (New York, Time Out NY) the Observer is always on the inside track when it comes to politics, business, theater, fashion, culture, publishing, the arts, real estate and society. This well designed (and illustrated) publication ...

Realm 4 reviews
Evergreen Marketing, 2001
The kindgom and the glory... Along with 'British Heritage', the magazine 'Realm' is one of the periodicals I use to keep current both on the current state of Britain's traditional culture as well as the current streams of thought on the history of Britain. Each issue includes articles on the past and the present; it is useful for both residents (to learn more about the isles called home) as well as for tourists, to learn ...

Luxe : Colorados Leading Architecture Design Magazine 2 reviews
Sandow Media Corporation
High Style Comes to Colorado I recently came across the newest home design magazine to hit Colorado - LUXE. While the name says it all, this publication is full of beautiful pictures of both Colorado homes and unique home furnishings. I fell head over heels for a sconce that was in one of the stories, that I had to order. I can't wait to see future issues and pick up cool ideas for my own home.

You don't have to live in the Midwest! Being a resident of the midwest region of our country is not a necessary criteria for enjoying this magazine. While my family originates from the midwest, and we visit occasionally, I enjoy living on the east coast. This magazine offers more than just the regional perspective. It shares information in a friendly, warm and upbeat manner that is useful and often fun. It's a pleasant read with ...

Art of the West [published bi-monthly] and the others provide a welcome respite from the mediocrity that assaults our senses and insults ...
