Motor Trend 29 reviews
Source Interlink, 2001
Motor Trend scores a GOAL !!! Motor Trend is a rather good, well written car magazine for auto enthusiasts. The articles are timely and full of facts and opinions about cars, new hybrids and the like. The quality of the paper is quite good and the print is always easy to read as well.
The cover "story" makes for a big splash but it's not sensationalism: the magazine backs it all up with a beefy article exploring the car, ...

Road & Track 17 reviews
Hachette Magazines, Inc., 2001
The BEST automotive magazine available! I first picked up an issue of R&T at the news stand when I was in the sixth grade. I was always into models, Lego's, drafting and other technical hobbies and the detail sheet in R&T's reviews fascinated me with all the stats and the cutaway drawing of the vehicle- it still looks very similar today, thirteen years later due to the great layout.
The journalists, photographers, artists and ...

5.0 Mustang & Super Fords 1 review
Source Interlink, 2001
Really good information I have almost every issue of this magazine, from way back in 1994 when it was bi-monthly, and there was no "& Super Fords" in the title. I have been a steady subscriber ever since. They have made one heck of a lot of progress in less than 15 years. They put out a lot of great info here, and you can tell the writers are serious Mustang freaks, as they should be. BUT.. there are a few little things ...

One of the best musclecar magazines I feel a bit ackword putting 5 stars for any item without some explaination, so here it is. If you are interested in building engines with high cost-to-performance ratio as well as good reliability, this is the magazine for you. The magazine doesn't hold bias to any (american) company either making it good for any enthusiast. In addition, the straight scoop section has great information on the ...

Automobile 6 reviews
Source Interlink, 2001
The best (almost) - but definately the best read Automobile magazine emerged from the creative mind of David E. Davis, Jr. who founded it in 1986 after leaving Car & Driver abruptly. Their moto: "No Boring Cars." This moto has largely succeeded. Davis left several years ago - he's in his 70's so he's entitled to slow down - and left the editorship to Ms. Jean Lindamood Jennings, also formerly of Car & Driver. Personally, I think she is ...

Super Chevy 2 reviews
Source Interlink, 2001
For the Muscle Car Enthusiasts Super Chevy is the preeminent chevy muscle car magazine. It has features on specific cars as well how to's and the goings on in their car show circuit. I personally like the restoration project series whether its on a Camaro from a couple of years ago or the current Chevelle rehab. Also their advertisers are true restoration specialists so its also a good reference source. The only down side is ...

Super Street 12 reviews

Super Street is the best, it's name says it all! Super Street is the best import car modification magazine out there simply because its contents satisfy all of the readers, from the tech guys to the guys who just look for the cars and girls. And it has personality! The balance of article and babes is equal, and the magazine featured some of the most wicked rides ever built. For quality, I recommend this magazine over any other mags, ...

Truck Trend 3 reviews

Good stock truck magazine This is a good stock truck magazine. I have no interest in modifying a truck. I wanted a magazine that covered only trucks from the factory. I just wish it was more than 6 issues a year. This truck magazine gives me the scoop on what I need to know (ex. Jeep Gladiator truck). I also got this magazine for my father-in-law.

Popular Hot Rodding 1 review
Source Interlink, 2001
I hate to say it... ...But I prefer Popular Hot Rodding to Hot Rod. PHR covers classic and muscle cars with more depth, while doing a decent job of staying away from Hondas and Acuras with those big dumb exhaust pipes. As a truly awful mechanic, I find PHR to be more sympathetic to amateurs and dreamers.

JP Magazine 6 reviews

It's The Aura That Counts Some things never really change. Under one branding or another, the Jeep Wrangler has always been an American icon. Jacked up suspensions, massive bumpers, countwinches, a layer of dust, and an incredibly loud sound system - who could ask for more. Primarily a male ego toy, many dream of packing up some food, beverage, and a beautiful companion on an unplanned trip to some unknown Valhalla. ...

High Performance Pontiac 2 reviews

THE magazine for Pontiac Fans This is absolutely the magazine for Pontic enthusiasts to read. It's loaded with technical articles. Also, it gives race results. It has features with really sweet rides. There's a cool section called "Department X" which shows concept cars that never made it into production. The magazine is loaded with pictures, lots and lots full colour. Too bad there's no center fold in it, or it would ...
