Photo Techniques 4 reviews
Preston Publications, 2002
simply the magazine for photographers This is the best photo mag for those of us passionate about photography. It has long in debth articles on technique and equipment. Moreover it features "how to" examples from some of the best fine art photographers of our time. It is thus quite different from other magazines that feature some no name staff writer pretending to be Paul Strand. This does make this magazine perhaps less than ideal ...

Writer's Digest (1-year) 34 reviews
F&W Publications
Excellent Resource! Writer's Digest publishes hands-on, practical articles for writers. Their interviews contain smart tidbits that I can apply quickly, and they don't write down to readers. I like the brevity of their articles too -- busy writers can read an article in five minutes or less. That's my style.

Werner Publishing Corporation, 2001
Digital Photo buff must have. This magazine is wonderfull. I have seen magazines that you have to search through the ads (which often outnumber the articles) and this is far from that. The articles I have seen are current and deal with issues I as an amature dig pic buff want to know about. I higly reccomend it.

The Artist's Magazine (1-year) 14 reviews
F&W Publications
Great magazine I have received my first issue of The Artist's Magazine, for January/February 2008. I am especially enjoying the article on Collage. I am well satisfied with my purchase and would think most anyone interested in Art would find The Artist's Magazine, both entertaining and instructional.

Guitar Techniques 6 reviews
Future Publishing Ltd
It's all about the music I've been buying guitar magazines since 1990 and have a collection of hundreds of them. This one is the best! It has always been good, but these days I think it stands out from the crowd even more. I've seen magazines start out good, full of useful information and sheet music, then plunge to the depths of crappy industry gossip and little else. These guys have kept a strong loyalty to the ...

Skiing (1-year) 6 reviews
Bonnier Active Media, 2001
Good overall Good magazine if you're looking for articles on equipment on or coming on the market that has been well tested and rated price, ability level etc. Good pieces on preventing injuries and getting and staying fit, since skiing means you better have strong legs and upper body control.

Tips & Tricks Magazine 2 reviews
LFP Publishing Group, LLC.
Current Codes Stay, Older Codes Go One of my favorite past times happens to be the world of video games. Although many people find different ways to get around them with cheats, the unfortunaet part is that the cheats don't often get used. For a magazine called Tips & Tricks, their magazine constantly is coined with that phrase. Although they have a dead on sense with publishing tips and ways to help you through current games, ...

Aperture 7 reviews
Aperture, 2001
Froma All I've Read Although I have yet to subscribe to Aperture, what I've heard and what little I've seen advertised in one of Sally Mann's famous publications is enough to arouse my interest, and I can't wait to partake of a first issue of 'Aperture'. Feedback from other members is always anticipated and welcomed.
