Very enjoyable magazine
I have come to really like this magazine.
Most gay oriented magazines are not very 'readable'
in that they don't reflect very much.
In this magazine I found so far always something
that really engaged me and gave me a sense of
enrichment. It has a combination of variety and
depth that is difficult to achieve for any kind
of magazine. I' am renewing my subscription.

Love the magazine, too high subscription price!
I absolutely love this magazine - I was first introduced to it when I visited England last year. I highly recommend getting it, but the subscription price is excessively high, IMHO. I've been able to buy it at Border's stores for approximately $6 an issue. I suppose if it's worth it to you to get it delivered for an extra $2 a month, go for it. Great magazine at a great price
I too recently subscribed to BBC History Magazine through Amazon and had no problems. It's a colorful magazine full of interesting and lively articles and stimulating ideas. Indirectly, I also see BBC History Magazine as a kind of travel magazine. There are lots of historical places I want to check out after reading a few issues. Highly recommended!

Excellent, simple recipes -- and fun culturally, too
I would love to subscribe to Olive, but I can't justify it. I understand the subscription includes airmail, but STILL! I can buy single issues at a store near my home, and even at retail prices, 12 issues cost less than does a subscription.
But, to give you an idea how good a magazine this is, every single month I deliberately make the trek to the store to buy a copy.

Yes it is expensive, but it must be known that 1 page of Top Gear is more interesting than a whole issue of Car and Driver. Subscribing means paying more ($10.95 listed at bookstands) and getting each issue 2-3 weeks later. I used to subscribe, but I get them at Borders now.
