Maximum Rock
I missed out on a few ACDC albums on the Phase 1,2 and 3 releases, and this was one of I think three.Even with only Three new items from the Boys, its very worth it !!It rocks, and also it has a nice soft side ( Ride on) which makes it a listening pleasure ( as with all ACDC albums). I was hoping that the Disc would have extra video material on the Disc, but with this Connect-D disc, the pluses ...

Jammin on Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. (Goes Good with Ice Cold Beer) Thanx Pepsi and Amazon, for bringing back so many good rockin memories (You wouldn't believe how many dumpsters I pick through looking for points, hope I don't get hepatitus or something like that, but a cat has to do what they gotta do, Yeah!) The 70's when rock was rock. Gonna get High Voltage next. Would be nice if you had ...

For Those About to Rock We Salute You106 reviews
AC/DC

Sony, 2003

One of my favorite AC/DC albums (Brian Johnson era)
"For those about to Rock" might not be a fan favorite (such as Back in Black) but I think it acutally a better album. I loved "Back in Black" when I first heard it, but it I grew bored of it over time. Now I am only basing this comparison on the fact that I played "Back in Black" to death, yet I have had this album and back in black for the same time, and I have not grown tired of this. I love ...

Lock up your back door and run for your life
Being a rock guitar freak of two decades' standing, it is with acute embarrassment that I confess to only having heard this record right through for the first time in my 39th year. Clearly I went to the wrong school and hung out with the wrong, self conscious types, and stupidly we looked askance at this bogan rock. More fool us. What a remarkable, single minded, self-assured, exuberant ...

LIVE
Get this album, this is their 2nd live album and first with brian johnson. Brian is very good live. He even does a better job than bon scott. Brian is much better at singing Highway to hell. You can also consider it as a greatest hit album, a lot of their singles are on here but they are live. Also, to let you know this is a double cd, they have 2 different sets. A double which is this one and ...

UNDERRATED
If you are a person looking for classic rock music. This is one of those albums to look for. It is not one of their big albums, it is often overlooked. But every song on this record is great. ROCK N ROLL DAMNATION is the title track and a great song to jam to. There is very excellent guitar solo on GONE SHOOTIN, and another great guitar solo is on RIFF RAFF. a great song to drive in your car and ...

Let There Be Rock108 reviews
AC/DC

Albert/Epic/Sony BMG, 2003

let there be MORE than rock
Wow, this is one powerful rock album. It pack a serious MEAN and NASTY punch. It's raw, straight forward, simple rock and roll with the volume turned WAY up. But wait! That's not all! The band members also give us some highly enjoyable guitar soloing in the title song. This band was truly at their very best in the early days. Pick it up today and hear how AC/DC used to sound a long ...

I'VE BEEN THUNDERSTUCKED!!!!!
This is an AWESOME cd. AC/DC really knows how to please their fans and this LIVE cd is no exception. The song collection was great and they were very good choices. Brian Johnson did a great job with the vocals and Angus was just pheonomenal as always on lead guitar. If your an AC/DC fan then you're nuts if you don't already have this cd, and thats the truth. Other rock fans should get this as ...

Aye, Aye Oh
This album is a great album! A lot of people don't really like this album but who cares??!! There's a lot of great AC/DC classics on this album like: "Shake Your Foundations", "Sink the Pink", "Playing with Girls", "Hell or High Water" and the underrated "Danger".. If you like the Thunder from Down Under before, the you should like this album!! After all, every AC/DC album rocks!!!

Blow Up Your Video68 reviews

Much better than I expected... surprising good!
If you like good heavy blues rock buy Blow up your video. Back in Black is better but this is still very good. Three songs are 3 stars ... Nick of Time, Some Sin for Nuthin' and Go Zone but all the others are so good that this is a 5 star album. Buy it... You won't regret it.

Flick of the Switch59 reviews
AC/DC

a very classic album!
AC/DC is a veteran band. they definitely proved it in the 1980's with album after album. their sound has scarcely changed. they will probably be rocking until doomsday. this album is definitely a classic and rightfully so. I like the song "This House Is On Fire" but the rest of the album is good too. I cannot wait for their new album to come out.

This album is amazing
Ok, so it's a little more mellow than your Highway to Hell or your Powerage, but this album just rocks. There are only two songs I don't like and they both come close to the end. Safe in New York City is their best song since Thunderstruck. Stiff Upper Lip improves on Ballbreaker. It has a similar sound. AC/DC sounds a bit different now, but I love it just as much as their old stuff.

AC/DC

My favorite AC/DC
Start to finish, this is my favorite AC/DC album. Yes, I own "Back in Black" and "highway To Hell", among others, and they're great. But when I want a pure metal adrenaline rush loaded with hooks, nothing satisfies quite like "If You Want Blood...". You can just feel the anticipation of the audience with the amplifier buzz that starts before the boys rip into a searing rendition of "Riff ...

Bought for my husband
I bought this set for my husband. He absolutely LOVED it! He got it out of the package immediately, the only thing that bummed him out was that he thought it was five DVD's and it turned out to be CD's. He is still happy with it though, but it would be great if they could make it a DVD set in the future. We would buy that, too.
