I missed out on a few ACDC albums on the Phase 1,2 and 3 releases, and this was one of I think three.Even with only Three new items from the Boys, its very worth it !!It rocks, and also it has a nice soft side ( Ride on) which makes it a listening pleasure ( as with all ACDC albums).

"For those about to Rock" might not be a fan favorite (such as Back in Black) but I think it acutally a better album. Being a rock guitar freak of two decades' standing, it is with acute embarrassment that I confess to only having heard this record right through for the first time in my 39th year.

This album is a great album! A lot of people don't really like this album but who cares??!! There's a lot of great AC/DC classics on this album like: "Shake Your Foundations", "Sink the Pink", "Playing with Girls", "Hell or High Water" and the underrated "Danger".. Much better than I expected... surprising good!
If you like good heavy blues rock buy Blow up your video. Back in Black is better but this is still very good. Three songs are 3 stars ... Nick of Time, Some Sin for Nuthin' and Go Zone but all the others are so good that this is a 5 star album. Buy it... You won't regret it.

a very classic album!
AC/DC is a veteran band. they definitely proved it in the 1980's with album after album. their sound has scarcely changed. they will probably be rocking until doomsday. this album is definitely a classic and rightfully so. I like the song "This House Is On Fire" but the rest of the album is good too. I cannot wait for their new album to come out.

This album is amazing
Ok, so it's a little more mellow than your Highway to Hell or your Powerage, but this album just rocks. There are only two songs I don't like and they both come close to the end. Safe in New York City is their best song since Thunderstruck. Stiff Upper Lip improves on Ballbreaker. It has a similar sound. AC/DC sounds a bit different now, but I love it just as much as their old stuff.

Bought for my husband
I bought this set for my husband. He absolutely LOVED it! He got it out of the package immediately, the only thing that bummed him out was that he thought it was five DVD's and it turned out to be CD's. He is still happy with it though, but it would be great if they could make it a DVD set in the future. We would buy that, too.
