Umvd Import, 2002
Their Best Since the Beginning This album is their best work since August and Everything After. I can't imagine a anyone listening to this album and not loving it. Whether you are a long time fan or just starting out, you can't go wrong Hard Candy. I listen to this album everyday, my favorite tracks are Black & Blue, Up All Night, and Holiday in Spain. Just like the cover says, this album has 13 new flavors of candy for you. ...

Films About Ghosts: The Best Of... Counting Crows
Universal/Geffen, 2003
They blasted to the top of the charts at the height of the grunge movement with a sound that recalled Van Morrison in his prime fused with REM at their beginning and Adam Duritz's long braids flying in the video of "Mr. Jones". Just over a decade later, they remain one of the few bands of the era to have carved out a longtime career and core audience that follows them in much the Grateful Dead tradition. This first collection assembles their ...

Accidentally in Love 1 review Counting Crows
Umvd Import, 2004
love it! it's something that you can totally rock with the beat. There aren't any words in the song that aren't offensive and the song lyics go together! When you like a song, you just like a song. This one is easy to love. I loved it the first time I ever heard it on tv in their music video. btw the music video is awsome!

American Girls, Pt. 2 3 reviews Counting Crows
Umvd Import, 2002
Two gems I bought this single for the two songs " Blues run the game" and "Mercy". Both are worth the money. Im a die-hard fan of this band and own everything by them. And these two emotinally drenched cover-songs are a couple of the most inspired and beautiful works the crows have done. Ive listened to "Mercy" like 200 times now.

Haven't heard the CD, but.. I've heard the songs on the CD. August and Everything After is finally available! It's a wonderful song, and I'm surprised they waited ten years to play it and release it.

Across A Wire: Live In New York City 144 reviews The Counting Crows
Geffen Records, 1998
What a wonderful live experience! This is one of the best live albums I've ever purchased and I think every one who likes pop/rock like Counting Crows should get themselves a copy, because the band's perfomance is extraordinary good - both of the performances!
It's a double live album which contains two live recordings from Vh1: Storytellers and a Mtv gig. The first is kind of an unplugged acoustic concert which is more quit ...

Recovering the Satellites 141 reviews Counting Crows

Brilliant Counting Crows second effort is just as brilliant as their debut, "August and Eveyrthing After." Here, the band shows a totally different sound than their previous effort and what turns out is nothing short of brilliant.

Hard Candy 248 reviews Counting Crows
Geffen Records, 2002
Why the bad reviews - This is GREAT! I can't understand why everyone doesn't like this album. I think Hard Candy is the best Crows work since August. I absolutely LOVE this. I - saddly - find myself hoping Adam stays sad because he is the true definition of a tortured artist. It's so obvious that he was completely heartbroken when writing these songs. I'm a fan for life. If you have any doubts, listen to the songs while ...

August and Everything After 26 reviews Counting Crows
Geffen Records, 2007
The extras are a nice addition... "August and Everything After" remains my all time favorite album. One of the very few I can listen to as a whole, song after song. Adam Duritz has an amazing poetic mind, and Anna Begins may be the most beautiful love song ever written. The sound quality of this version of the album is far superior to the original. The demos and live tracks are excellent. Buy this if you don't already own August! ...

An American Classic While listening to Counting Crows "This Desert Life", you're reminded in why Counting Crows are arguably America's greatest band going today. Films About Ghosts 58 reviews Counting Crows
Geffen Records, 2003
An excellent compilatory of an incredible band Considering the band has a trajectory of more than 10 years and five official albums in their pocket, you can expect plenty of this album, and it will not disappoint. With a title extracted directly from the lyrics of one of their most memorable songs (from Mrs. Potter's Lullaby `if dreams are like movies, then memories are films about ghosts...'), this album includes 14 tracks very well selected ...
