Sarah Brightman

Manhattan Records, 2008

It's Different Each Time
The greatest attribute of Ms Brightman as an artist is her ability to always bring a new twist and create a new sound each time she comes out with an album or a concert. Time to Say Goodbye, Eden, La Luna, Harem, Symphony - each one is a coherent album but each one has a different style and character. If you have listened to a couple of her CDs and expect the same from the next one, you'd be ...

A Phantom Fan's Perspective
The Phantom Of The Opera soundtrack by Andrew Lloyd Webber is the best and most meaningful music ever created. The music provides story with a catchy tune and still provides a powerful theme. Throughout the songs you can establish a story about a young opera singer named Christine, and how she has encounters with the Phantom. The song, "The Point of no Return", is the most meaningful because it ...

AMAZING! Couldn't Stop Playing It!
When I first bought this CD, I couldn't stop playing it! For days I did almost nothing but listen to this extraordinary voice singing these beautiful songs. After more than five years, I still listen to it often and am surprised to find that I love it every bit as much as when I first discovered it. This is the best of Boccelli's albums (although his concert at Lake Las Vegas is a close ...

A fascinating musical anthology!
The illustrious artistic trajectory of 25-year music career from Sarah Brightman starts with the Hot Gossip passing through "The phantom of the opera" "Deliver me ", "Eden", "Time to say goodbye", "A question of honour" and the unforgettable homage in memory of Freddie Mercury, "Who wants to live forever" includes too a brief but invaluable introduction with the diva talking about fresh and ...

Ahh Sarah!
Is there a better singer in the world? I don't think so, but in any case, this new album from the now very svelte and very georgeous Sarah Brightman is superb. The power, the control, the clarity is all there. This experienced vocalist is the definition of a world class diva. The proof of it all is the fact that her fans, of which I am one, could listen to her for days on end without getting ...

Highlights From The Phantom Of The Opera: The Original London Cast Recording (1986 London Cast)93 reviews
Andrew Lloyd Webber, Michael Reed, ...

Decca Broadway, 1990

The music caresses you.
The highlights from Phantom are some of the most beautiful music of our time. Phantom is one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's finest moments. The performance is a joy. I love the bombastic orchestral effects and the tender vocal phrases. The popularity of this work speaks positively of the musical and artistic taste of our generation.

Fantastic
This is my second copy of this cd. The first was discovered by my then 16 year old daughter and after being passed repeatedly back and forth and between both cars.....well, you know how it was--it just wouldn't play anymore--she is now 20. Now that I have the new one, my now 16year old son heard me playing it in the car and he said "wow" this is good. He steals it from me every night and plays ...

Surrender to Sarah's Unexpected Songs!!
I surrendered ..... you should too! This album is just incredible. As I'm sure you already know, this is a collection of Sarah singing the works of brilliant composer (and ex-husband) Andrew Lloyd Webber. Sarah just takes my breath away. Her technique is incredible and her voice is perfect- which I unfortunately can't say for all of her albums. Her Spanish pronunciation is nothing short of ...

The Premiere Collection
My sister had this and it got destroyed. She wanted an other, This was the only place I have found it!! Very hard to find! I have been to every music store in my area. She loved it!! And was so happy to have it again. Anyone who loves Andrew Lloyd Webber will love this. As it has many songs from some of his most famous plays with the original cast. Great item.

Dive122 reviews
Sarah Brightman

A&M, 1993

One of the most memorable albums
I first heard "Captain Nemo" on a local alternative station. Then I went out and bought "Dive". This was when I was traveling to Japan for work a whole lot of the time. I've listened to this album hundreds of times. It never grows old! I still appreciate every song, every nuance. "Once in a lifetime" is the theme song of my wife and I. I think this is one of the best albums ever recorded.

Very Best of Sarah Brightman: 1990-20008 reviews
Sarah Brightman

Atlantic UK, 2001

One of the best Sarah Brightman collections
This is the perfect album for the new fan of Sarah Brightman. It is compiled of some of her best songs including Time to Say Goodbye with Andrea Bocelli, Eden, the haunting A Question of Honour, and live versions of Captian Nemo and La Mer. This album also includes beautifully recorded covers of Scarborough Fair and Whiter Shade of Pale. It is the essential "pop" recordings of Ms. Brightman.

Love Changes Everything: The Andrew Lloyd Webber Collection, Vol. 216 reviews
Sarah Brightman

Decca Broadway, 2005

A handsome Part 2 of Brightman's ALW songbook
I've long hoped that one day all of Sarah Brightman's recordings of Lord Lloyd-Webber songs would be released together in one comprehensive collection. This handsome CD, a sequel to her better-known Lloyd-Webber collection, is a treasure-trove of gems, focussing on lesser-known recordings and boasting several unreleased tracks. Brightman tackles a wide range of songs from the Phantom theme to a ...

Transcends To New Highs For Sarah Brightman
This is one of Sarah's most unique albums full of classical opera, pop, and even electronica. This will transcend your mind, if you lay in the dark and listen to this, it feels like it's taking you to another place or time. I absolutely love this album, which is dark, moving and haunting (in a good way). Overall this album transcends to new highs for Sarah Brightman. Anybody just getting into ...

The Moon is Far Away - Sarah Brings it Closer!
A really good album on Sarah Brightman's part. This album came out after her two smash-hit albums, TIME to SAY GOODBYE and EDEN. It offers the same sort of material from Eden, with a new theme. Some pop tunes (in English) and some opera and classical (mostly in Italian or Spanish) (and even in Russian). Here's a quick score-and-comment: 1.) LA LUNE - 4/5 - Drawn out with a lot of synth and ...

Unbilivable experience!
Great modern music of Webber. It is not classical Requiem. A little contraversal.. Great mix of boys choir and mixed choir.. and great performers: Sarah and Domingo are really something.. and this kid who sings with Sarah..And Mazel, the head of the project..
