A high energry treat from beginning to end
"Ye-Me-Le" was almost a return to the original group sound heard on "Herb Alpert Presents" and "Equinox" and, in my opinion, is a much better album than its 2 predecessors, "Fool on the Hill" and "Crystal Illusion".

Almost every track on this 4-sider (neat how 4 lp sides now take up just one CD) got plenty of radio play in La La Land when I was growing up so this really is a "greatest hits" album from my youth. And who cares if they're covers or not? They're excellent covers. Great arrangements. Terrific vocals. Top notch players. Love it!

After years of searching for this Cd I finally found it! Over the years I found several CDs of Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 containing only "Greatest hits", wondering why this and "Equinox" haven't been issued on CD. Today I recieved both and I am delighted! Great music, it's a joy to listen!!!

Superb Album
"Fool on the Hill" is my favorite album by "Sergio Mendez and Brazil 66." If you like Brazilain-Latin music you will love this. Actually I think it's a better album than their "Greatest Hits." It is a real shame that the music industry doesn't promote music like this anymore. The music is full of soul, a very creative and innovative effort. It's just priceless.
