So sad Brad is gone, but his genius lives on
I was listening to CD-1 in my room tonight, dancing around inspired and free, and was compelled to write a review. I bought this album about 6 weeks ago (my housemate had been playing Slightly Stoopid, who are reminiscent of Sublime but not nearly of the same caliber) and all of a sudden I rediscovered Sublime and realized just how awesome they were. I had bought the self-titled and Second Hand ...

Sublime's self-titled album maybe the album of the 90s
I feel like it's no stretch to say that the early 90s were a funny time for rock music. Revivalist, but still cliche hair metal bands of the late 80s were over shadowed by a new, gritty station of rock: grunge. The sound of 90s rock, visualized by the visage of Kurt Cobain, was not your fathers rock and roll. Kurt Cobain and Nirvana focused on the pain and the grit more than the soul. It's ...

Brad and Sublime: resurrected at last...!
Everybody loves this album; why else would you have clicked on the icon in order to view the product? Everybody knows that the album has been re-sequenced in order to comply with Bradly Nowell's original sequence. I have listened to this album for so long, that it will take a while to RE-ADJUST to the new sequence of the songs! Also, everybody knows that this album comes with a ...

Sublime Box DVD Easter Egg
Check out the two easter eggs on the boxset's DVD, live versions of "Pool Shark" and "DJ". To access "DJ," on the Main Menu keep the highlight on the option for 'Roll It' and press the arrow keys on your DVD remote in this order: Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up. This will automatically play the clip. To access "Pool Shark," on the second menu page for 'The Cuts' put the ...

Excellent Compilation
I enjoyed this CD as much as I have all the others recorded by Sublime. This CD gives a great look into their style, and has a variety of their best songs. If you're a new listener to Sublime, this is a perfect 1st album.

Hodgey Podgey
This hodge has all samples of Sublimes essence. Cut up like they Cut it. The warm-up waiting for bud. The comedy of Raeligh. Steppin Razor is dangerous. Bradley teaches us of Mic Control, the work we do, and lets us into his life. Free loop has dancehall/reggaeton fluxes. It's a podge for sure.

This album rules!!!!!!
Don't hate on this cd, it's one of those that any sublime addict would love to have. There's just a lot of raw drunken emotion, but that's what makes it interesting and funny.

Live = Better
I wish I had a van. Vans are pretty cool. I mean...there's just so much room. And sure, they can't drag real well, but you don't drag in a van. You got subs, and room for gals. And if you're really classy you can get a couple of couches back there and a TV, and you can roll in it. If I had a van I'd probably be playing this album in it. I kid you not, Stand By Your Van has been in my '04 ...

Perfect-anyone who has worn out the self titled album, but want more Sublime, BUY THIS
This is an excellent album. If you got a kick out of the self titled album, then a guarentee that you will, to say the least, like this album. Sublime, as a band, makes excellent albums. All of the tracks are usually listenable, and they are truly talented. If you like reggae, rock, hip-hop, or just need an album to chill to, this is great. It's funny to me, only two songs really got any ...

A Must Buy For Any Serious Sublime Fan
This EP CD is incredible. A rarity. It's a must buy for any serious Sublime fan because of it's rare quality, it's awesome cover art (by Opie as usual) and it's tracks that are not available on any studio albums. The tracks are as follows: 1. Badfish - The classic. The same version from 40 Oz. To Freedom. 2. Don't Push - The Original. Same version from Second Hand Smoke. 3. Untitled Dub - An ...

PICK THIS UP!
This EP is worth it just because of the Doin' Time Remix with the Pharcyde. That is a great song from two of Long Beach's best.
