...just thought I would get that out of the way first. I listened to the album with Scott's criticism in mind, but I didn't hear what he was writing about. I listened through my iPod, average computer speakers, and an average stereo system, and I found the sound fine, and I suspect you will too, unless you fetishize the warmth or the LP or have heard defects as Scott has described in other CDs ...

A Classic
Although this album produced some of the Twins biggest hits, it is very under rated. People look back on the TT and always mention Sidekicks and Into the Gap as their faves. But this album is excellent. "Breakaway", "Rollover" and "Emperors Clothes" are three of the best Thompson Twins songs ever recorded.
Maybe the reason people over look this album is because of the trouble that surrounded ...

Brilliantly Remastered 12-Track Collection For The Casual Fan
After listening to the recent 2008 reissues and remasters of both Quick Step & Side Kick and Into the Gap by Demon-Edsel I was tempted to revisit this 2003 compilation released by Thompson Twins' head label Arista/BMG Heritage and see how it held up as a hits package. I bought this disc back in 2003 shortly after it's release and have greatly enjoyed the music for nearly 5 years.
